Sticker Application Instructions
Applying your custom stickers correctly ensures a smooth, long-lasting finish. Whether you’re labeling products, branding packaging, or decorating personal items, follow these simple steps for the best results.
Clean the Surface
Start with a clean, dry, and smooth surface.
Use rubbing alcohol or mild soap and water to remove any dust, oil, or residue.
Let it dry completely before applying the sticker — moisture can cause bubbling or lifting.
Avoid applying to textured, dirty, or freshly painted surfaces — adhesion will be reduced.
Position Your Sticker
Before peeling, hold the sticker over the surface to decide the best placement.
If it’s large or detailed, you can use a small piece of masking tape as a hinge to help align it.
Peel the Backing Carefully
Slowly peel away the backing film from one edge, exposing the adhesive side.
Avoid touching the adhesive with your fingers too much — oils can affect stickiness.
For UV DTF stickers: make sure you’re peeling the white backing (not the top film) before placement.
Apply & Press Firmly
Place the exposed edge onto the surface, then smooth out slowly using your fingers or a soft squeegee.
Work from the center outward to remove any air bubbles.
For UV DTF stickers, you can apply firm pressure with a credit card or roller to activate the adhesive fully.
Remove Transfer Film (UV DTF Only)
If your sticker includes a transfer film layer, press firmly once more, then peel the top film slowly at a sharp angle.
Do not rush — take your time for clean edges and perfect adhesion.
Optional: Once applied, you can lightly warm the area with a heat gun or hair dryer to help seal the adhesive (especially on curved or cold surfaces).
Let It Set
Allow the sticker to cure for 12–24 hours before washing, scrubbing, or exposing it to outdoor elements.
Once bonded, your sticker will hold on glass, plastic, metal, or coated surfaces.
Tips & Troubleshooting
Bubbles? Gently lift the nearest edge and reapply, pressing out the air.
Edge lifting? Repress firmly or apply slight heat to reactivate the adhesive.
Outdoor or car use? Make sure the surface you are applying the sticker to is fully dry.
